Terms of use.
How the journal is published, attributed and may be cited.
General
Kunshaus Field Journal is a non-commercial editorial publication. The material is provided for orientation and considered reading only. Use of the site signifies acceptance of these terms.
Attribution & reuse
All text on kunshaus.sbs is the original editorial work of Beat Schärer. Reproduction of entries in commercial publications requires prior written permission. Citation in academic or non-commercial work is unrestricted, provided a direct link to the source page is supplied.
Images
Images are taken by the editor under standing photographic practice or are drawn from open archives with stated licences. Rights holders who consider an image misattributed are asked to write — substitution is immediate.
Accuracy
Opening hours, transport schedules, and on-site arrangements are correct on the date of verification, dated on each entry. Swiss tourism infrastructure shifts more slowly than most countries — but mountain railways close for maintenance, museums close for renovation, and trails are re-routed. Readers should verify against operator websites shortly before travel.
Cartographic sources
Coordinates and elevations are drawn from Swisstopo's 1:25,000 series and from the federal coordinate system (LV95). Where the journal cites a peak elevation, the figure is the current published Swisstopo value.
No transactional services
Kunshaus does not sell tickets, passes, tours, accommodation or transport, and does not partner with any third-party booking platform. References to operators are informational only. If a third party uses the journal's name in retail of any kind, please write — the matter is taken seriously and a public note will be issued in the next volume.
Alpine liability
Two of the volume's readings include alpine foot-route sections at elevation. The editor accepts no responsibility for decisions made on the basis of published material. Mountain weather changes rapidly; equipment, fitness, route assessment and turn-around discipline are the walker's responsibility.
Amendments
The editor reserves the right to revise these terms without notice. The current version is at all times the one shown on this page.
