Write to the editor.
Corrections, route notes, on-site updates. Replies within seven days from the editorial desk in Interlaken.
Kunshaus is edited by Beat Schärer from a small office overlooking the Aare in Interlaken. The journal carries no advertising, sells nothing, and partners with no booking service. Letters from readers — particularly corrections from readers who have visited the published sites more recently than the editor — are read carefully and replied to within seven days.

What lands well
- Corrections. A misnamed peak, a wrong elevation figure, a closed hotel still listed as open. Every published correction is acknowledged in the next volume.
- Image attributions. Rights holders who believe an image is misattributed are asked to write — substitution is immediate.
- Recent on-site experience. Trail conditions change with the season; cable cars close for maintenance; museum exhibition schedules shift. Reader updates from the past month are welcome.
- Suggestions for future volumes. Five readings per volume; the country has at least fifty more that could justify the format. The editor is reading.
What does not land
Please do not write asking for ticket purchases, tour bookings, accommodation reservations, or referrals to commercial operators. Kunshaus runs none of these services and does not partner with any third party who does. Such letters are unanswered.
Last reply turnaround: 4.3 days average, January–May 2026.
